Long profile is long.

My name is Jessy. You may recognize me as myjadedhavok on Livejournal. I thought I might as well follow the trend and get an account here. We'll see how it goes.

There aren't words to describe me. None that I have, as of yet, found, at least. I am truly an unique individual, but, then, aren't we all to some extent? I'm just a little more odd than your average Joe and a great deal more insane.

It makes my life interesting.

Writing is my passion, my life. Like breathing, I need it to live and function. The written word is the single most beautiful, most powerful, most inspiring, and most deadly gift the human race has ever been granted.

I love music, in all of its various forms. I'm Pretty.Odd. (haha, couldn't help it, the pun is simply perfect even if I rather dislike that CD, which is horrible compared to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, at least in my opinion) in that area, as my musical tastes are pretty eccentric. My favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold), but I love and support more bands than I could ever find time to list. The list is just about endless.

On that subject:

RIP Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan.

I'm straightedge. I have been since I was fifteen years old and I don't see it changing anytime soon. I'm also pansexual and, in an odd sort of way, kind of a genderqueer. I'm proud of you if you know what that means. I don't believe in the gender binary system; in fact, I don't really believe very much in gender.

I have a fascination with life, with love, and with tattoos. I kind of want to cover myself in them.

My favorite color is Gabe Saporta.

In my opinion, Ninjas? They're awesome. Pirates fail epically in comparison, but are also awesome. Jedi are up there, too.

I'm a Dork. Yes, it deserves the capital letter. It should pretty much be stamped across my forehead because its true. I'm like the eighth dwarf: dorky.

My religion is the Church of Hot Addiction. We worship sex.

I love comedy. I love to laugh until my sides hurt, laugh until i'm crying, until I can't breathe. My favorite comedians are Jeff Dunham, Brian Haner Sr, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Christopher Titus.

I think Jensen Ackles might just be the best looking guy on the planet.

I'm also inappropriately attracted to Nick Jonas, Skandar Keynes, Colin Morgan, and Alan Cumming.

I'm pretty sure that if you were able to combine Jared Padalecki and Joe Jonas into one entity, it'd be the male equivelent of me. Possibly.

I have a near-unhealthy obsession with Patrick Stump and Jan Werner.

Kevin Smith and Tim Burton are the best directors, of all time. Fuck you if you think otherwise. (I also like Peter Jackson.)

JK Rowling is my idol. I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the first time when I was seven-years-old. When the last movie comes out, I won't know what to do with myself. Harry Potter has literally been in my life for the last fourteen years. It will be like losing a best friend.

My brain is made up of lots of different people I share the space with. I call them my muses and they are endless, ever shifting, ever changing, always speaking, always there. A few of them are more demanding than others, so they get names. Emmy is the loudest, the crudest, the eldest, and that is why I love her the most. Jack, Dylann, Alex, Jamie, and Syd all have stories. One day, I'll figure out how to write them.

For now, I write fanfic. Its fun, its challenging, and sometimes its a lifeline in darkness. One day I'll be able to write the stories that are etched into my heart and soul, but for now I'm just trying to expand my talents.

I am currently involved in the following fandoms:
Supernatural (Pairing of choice: Sam/Dean)
CWrps (Pairing of choice: Jensen/Jared)
Star Trek XI (Pairing of choice: Spock/Kirk)
Harry Potter (Pairing of choice: Harry/Draco)

I've been reading A LOT of Stargate Atlantis fics. I may eventually wander into that fandom. I will never leave HP fandom.

I write on livejournal under the name jadedhavok_ink.

My favorite movie is The Crow. I find it very beautiful, darkly romantic, and utterly morbid. My type of film. Its also very inspiring.

I also love Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and animated movies like Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Milo always reminded me of Daniel Jackson), Aladdin, Corpse Bride, Monsters Inc, and The Swan Princess. I absolutely adore Kevin Smith's Dogma, Clerks, and Mallrats. J.J. Abrams' Star Trek is fucking genius, I spent six months addicted to Across the Universe, and I can never get sick of The Boondock Saints.

As far as books go, I read all the time but Harry Potter will always be my favorite series. However, it is closely followed by David Eddings' Belgariad series. I'm a fan of Tamora Pierce's Tortall books, JR Ward's Blood Dagger Brotherhood (even though Vee and Butch should TOTALLY have fucking hooked up), and just about anything written by Julie Anne Peters or Alex Sanchez.

Twilight should be burnt, just like vampires should explode into fire when in the sun. Real vampires don't fucking sparkle. The books are poorly written, the characters are barely developed, and the plot needs serious work. That said, I do like Alice, I fucking adore Jasper (I wish he would have eaten Bella), and the fucking New Moon movie turned me into a Jacob fan. (I also loved Dakota Fanning in that movie. She made Edward wither in pain, she is my favorite.)

I am OBSESSED with Supernatural and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I also watch Merlin, Psych, True Blood, Criminal Minds, and Sherlock.

I will always be a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. Oz, Spike, Andrew, Doyle, and Connor own my heart collectively.

The most romantic love story to ever be written is that of Spock and Kirk. I want to share a love like theirs, but I don't think I'm that lucky. I also don't think it exists in real life (Jensen Ackles marrying Danneel Harris rather than Jared Padalecki kind of proves that love like that doesn't happen in reality. This is why fiction is loads better. For the record, I do like Danneel; she's beautiful and funny and she and Jensen are going to make babies so beautiful they may blind people).

I am kind of, sort of, not-really-yet-totally-and-completely married to Evan Taubenfeld. Its awesome, but I doubt he remains faithful. Or even remembers.

In real life, I live with the love of my life. His name is Chris and I may babble about him. We have three cats together: CJ, Minnie, and their baby-kitty Pancake.

I go to school and work full time right now, so I probably won't be around a lot until I get my degree or tell my boss to fuck off. The later is becoming more and more appealing.

This is me. I am utterly unapologetic of who I am. You can either deal with it, or not. I don't really care either way.
